Both teams to score

We'll start with the obvious bet, which is 'Both Teams to Score.'

The Germans have a formidable attack, featuring Florian Wirtz, Jamal Musiala, Leroy Sane, and Kai Havertz. They are likely to trouble defenses, and there's little to suggest they won't cause problems for Scotland.

However, Germany hasn't been defensively solid, as seen against Greece in their final warm-up game. Scotland has the potential to hit on the counterattack, making 'Both Teams to Score' a well-priced option in early betting.

John McGinn to be booked

Another bet recommended in the Germany vs. Scotland preview was for John McGinn to get booked, and I'm sticking with that selection.

McGinn will be crucial for Scotland in this tournament. His leadership and experience are vital, as is his tenacity, which often gets him booked, especially in high-pressure games.

McGinn was Aston Villa’s second-most booked player last season, frequently getting booked in matches where his team was under pressure and without the ball for long periods, which will likely be the case in this game.

Scotland over 5.5 shots

Many expect this opening game to be a breeze for Germany, but I'm not so sure. Yes, the hosts have excellent players and should get the job done, but they've been vulnerable to attacks recently, so don’t be surprised if Scotland threatens, especially on the break.

Germany conceded 12 shots against Greece and seven against Ukraine in previous games. They’ve allowed at least six shots in each of their last 11 games.

Germany over 4.5 corners

Lastly, 'Germany Over 4.5 Corners' is a must for any bet builder for this game.

The hosts will dominate possession, and with Scotland setting up for counterattacks, especially early on, corners for Germany seem inevitable.

Nagelsmann’s team forced 13 corners against Greece, 11 against Ukraine, six against the Netherlands, and five against France. Don’t be surprised to see Toni Kroos taking several corner kicks during this game.
