The Three Lions are back in action on Thursday evening. This time they’re facing the Danes, who are never easy to beat, as Southgate and his team discovered at the last European Championships.

For many bettors, parlay bets are the go-to, especially for big England games. So, let’s see what we can put together for this Group C matchup. Read on for Denmark vs. England parlay bet predictions.

In addition to previewing this game in more detail, including discussing two single bets, here’s an enticing-looking parlay bet, paying +900 with bet365.

Both Teams to Score

Both teams have the capability to challenge each other here, perhaps more so than early odds of +110 with bet365 suggest.

Sure, the Serbs didn’t score against the Three Lions, but had they been more composed in the final third, they probably would have. Extra composure is something this Danish side possesses, so it wouldn't be surprising if they manage to challenge a defense that has yet to be truly tested in Germany.

At the same time, though, the Danes didn’t offer much resistance against Slovenia in their first game, not only conceding a goal but also allowing a few decent chances, even being saved by the post on one occasion.

Such a performance doesn’t exactly indicate they can keep it tight against an English team that, when everything clicks, can be highly effective offensively, even if that happens a bit too infrequently in major tournaments.

Christian Eriksen Over 0.5 Shots On Goal

I, along with thousands of not just Denmark but soccer fans, was delighted to see Eriksen score in Denmark’s opener, and I firmly believe he’ll be a threat in this game.

I won’t bore those who’ve read my Denmark vs. England predictions and tips article with an in-depth analysis here, but let’s just say this is a man who continues to be a significant shooting threat.

He’ll likely get the time and space he desires in a game of this nature, and coming off the back of scoring last time out, he should be brimming with confidence.

He took five shots against Slovenia, and with an average of 0.85 shots on goal per 90 minutes in qualifying and the Nations League for Denmark, odds of +162 seem a bit generous to me.

Pierre-Emile Højbjerg Over 1.5 Fouls

Combative and hard-working, Pierre-Emile Højbjerg may not be the first choice for Spurs anymore, but as he wore the captain’s armband in the first game against Slovenia, he’s a key player for Denmark.

If Denmark are to get something here, then Højbjerg’s tenacity and no-nonsense approach to breaking up play will be critical. Unfortunately, those traits could draw the referee’s attention, as they often do.

For Tottenham Hotspur last season, as a frequently used sub, the central midfielder committed 1.36 fouls per 90 minutes, often conceding several fouls in games against the biggest teams.

He only committed one foul against Slovenia, but with a much tougher task ahead, don’t be surprised if the game is stopped due to a Højbjerg foul on more than one occasion. I certainly won’t be.

Recap - Denmark vs. England parlay bet picks

Here we have it, a three-selection Denmark vs. England parlay bet:

  • Both Teams to Score

  • Christian Eriksen Over 0.5 Shots On Goal

  • Pierre-Emile Højbjerg Over 1.5 Fouls

The three selections above as a parlay bet pay +900 with bet365.
