Now just five goals away from being crowned as the Netherlands’ all-time top-scorer, Memphis Depay is a key man for the Dutch.
Depay didn’t register a shot on target in the first game, despite shooting four times, though he looked hungry for goals, and he should be suited by the more open nature of this fixture.
Depay is a clear threat on the break and it probably won’t be long before he notches, let alone registers a shot on target, especially as he averaged 1.51 shots on target per game in La Liga last season.

Les Bleus kept a clean sheet in their first match, but they didn’t do so through amazing defending or keeping things tight. With better finishing, the Austrians would’ve scored, so don’t be surprised if the Dutch take advantage here.

On home soil in the Bundesliga, Xavi Simons was fantastic for Leipzig, scoring five and assisting eight in 16 games, averaging 0.81 goals/assists per game.
Marcus Thuram Over 0.5 Shots on Target
We’ll round things off with French forward Marcus Thuram, who is anything but shy to shoot, and he’s no stranger to shooting on target either.
The striker hit the target not once, but twice against Austria, and he looked hungry for goals, so expect him to be direct in this game.
As he averaged 0.97 shots on target for Serie A champions Inter Milan last season, he’s the man to be on for Les Bleus.
