For a while, it looked as though the Chicago boys had turned a corner. In fact, as they went four games without defeat, winning two of those, they had done just that. Unfortunately, it seems that they’ve now reversed back around the same corner.

Their unbeaten run came to an end in quite resounding fashion as they lost 4-2 in Orlando, going three goals down inside the first 29 minutes, while they couldn’t recover in Seattle last time out, losing 2-1.

Now back at Soldier Field, the men coached by Frank Klopas will be looking to bounce back, which isn’t out of the question against a similarly out-of-form team.

The Union have also struggled for results of late, losing each of their last four. Scoring goals isn’t often a problem, but keeping them out certainly is.

Thanks to a rather glaringly obvious lack of defensive solidity, Jim Curtin’s men are now without a win in seven games, while they go to Soldier Field having conceded a worrying total of 12 goals in their last four.

Fortunately for them, the hosts haven’t kept things tight either, so the visitors may just fancy themselves to outscore their opponents.
