With two games in hand, Wilfried Nancy’s men will fancy themselves to soon move into second, though to do that, they may need to cope with the absence of some key players this weekend.
For the Sounders, things went to plan in their first game following the Leagues Cup break. Brian Schmetzer’s men got the better of Minnesota away from home.
Unfortunately, they couldn’t build on that at Providence Park last weekend, losing to the Timbers, but they were only beaten narrowly, while that’s far from an easy place to go, so perhaps we shouldn’t judge Saturday’s visitors too harshly.

The forward powerhouse will likely relish the opportunity to take on a somewhat depleted Columbus Crew outfit, while we shouldn’t forget that this is a man who often thrives when playing on the break away from home, scoring in two of his last three road games.
Let’s also not forget that Morris has scored an average of 0.41 goals per 90 minutes this season, making odds of +275 look somewhat user friendly to say the least.
