Jannik Sinner vs Taylor Fritz picks

As the final Grand Slam of the ATP season comes to a close on Sunday, one pick stands out from a value point of view. Here we go.

Jannik Sinner to Win 3-1

Despite him being a sizable favorite in the early betting, I’m of the opinion that there is a smidgen of value to be had by betting on Sinner to win this match, so if taking odds of -345 is your sort of thing, I wouldn’t advise against it.

If that’s for you, then betting on the Italian to win by three sets to one appeals at odds of +240.

We know that Fritz isn’t going to lie down here, but is he really going to be good enough to seriously push the world number one? I doubt it.

We’ve seen Sinner drop the odd set, as he did against Medvedev, so it wouldn’t be the biggest surprise if Fritz claimed one of the first two sets on Sunday afternoon, but after a while, the world number should pull clear.

Last but not least, it wouldn’t be wise to overlook the fact that Fritz had to expend more energy to beat Tiafoe in five sets than Sinner did to beat Draper in three, which after a while could be telling.
