El Trafico, which is arguably the biggest derby in all of Major League Soccer, is not exactly the sort of game where you want to be re-finding your feet, so with both teams not in top shape, this really is an interesting fixture.

As these two titans clash at Dignity Health Sports Park, I’m keeping it simple. Here goes.
LAFC to Win
Sure, the visitors haven’t been in amazing shape of late, but they remain a team that’s tough to beat, while I really do think that they’ve got the measure of their rivals this season.
Moreover, while LAFC had the clear excuse of several top players being away on international duty for that tie with the Houston Dynamo last week, the Galaxy had less to complain about personnel wise, making their result look far worse.
When the teams met back in July, at this venue, the visitors simply had too much quality at both ends of the field. I’m not sure there’s any real evidence to suggest that we’ll see anything different this time around, so for my money, Cherundolo’s men should be a little stronger in the early market. Therefore, there’s value to be taken.
