Camila Osorio vs Kamilla Rakhimova picks

As the quarter-finals get underway in Mexico on Friday, there’s one bet that is too good to miss given the early lines. Here we go.

Camila Osorio to Win

This is an interesting match-up between two players who are separated by just nine places in the WTA Rankings. However, for my money, there’s plenty of evidence to suggest that Camila Osorio should be the narrow favorite, which she currently is not.

The Colombian has a good record in this part of the world and she’s clearly thriving at present, beating a decent player in Kudermetova in the previous round, staging a dramatic and unlikely comeback, which will have filled her with confidence. That win should not be undervalued.

Sure, Rakhimova made it beyond Azarenka, who was the third seed, but let’s face it, Azarenka was clearly injured, before retiring early in the second set, so we probably shouldn’t take that win at face value.

Moreover, Osorio has a 100% record against Rakhimova, beating in straight sets as recently as 2023. There’s value to be had by betting on the higher-ranked player to get the job done, that’s for sure.
