After a reduced Major League Soccer schedule last weekend, thanks to the international break, we’re back to having a full round of games to get stuck into.
It’s that time again, as the weekend’s soccer edges closer, we’re digging deep to find the best bets. Read on for our MLS best bets for September 14th.

Now that we’re back to a full complement of MLS games, there are a couple of picks that stand out as being the best available. Let’s go!
Aleksei Miranchuk to Score
(Atlanta United vs Nashville SC)
Atlanta United newbie Aleksei Miranchuk is yet to find the net, but it’s still early days and I really do feel that this is a player who could quite quickly make a big impact for the Five Stripes.
A man with plenty of top-level experience in Italy’s Serie A, Miranchuk should enjoy the extra space that playing in Major League Soccer will afford him.
Despite not being an absolute regular for Torino or Atalanta during his last two seasons in Italy, the Ukrainian notched seven goals, while between 2020 and 2024, he scored an average of 0.31 goals per 90 minutes, which ahead of a move to MLS, catches the eye.
Playing in front of the midfield, Miranchuk will be hoping to fill the void left by Thiago Almada, who recently joined Botafogo in Brazil, and I’m betting that he can start doing just that by scoring at home to a relatively weak Nashville side this weekend.
Cucho to Score
(Cincinnati vs Columbus Crew)
Another player prop that catches my eye here is ‘Cucho to Score’ as the Columbus Crew travel to take on FC Cincinnati at TQL Stadium.
As far as I’m concerned, Cucho has been one of the very best players in Major League Soccer this season, perhaps the best, especially in an offensive sense, so the fact that we can get odds of +170 on him scoring this weekend is surprising.
The Colombian has netted 13 times in MLS this term, scoring an impressive average of 0.73 goals per 90 minutes. The forward hasn’t scored for three games, but it likely won’t be long before the man averaging 5.62 shots per 90 minutes gets back on the score-sheet.
