Magdalena Frech vs picks
Ahead of this tennis battle between Poland and France, one bet stands out as a value play based on the early lines:
Magdalena Frech to Win
Deja vu? Well, just a day later and we’re back at it, again betting on Polish player Magdalena Frech to get the job done. Only this time, we’re betting on her to lift the trophy, which would be only her second WTA win.
Just as she was ahead of the semi-final, I really do feel that Frech is being undervalued by the early market. The Pole has played some great stuff in Mexico, so much so that she ought to be a stronger favorite against a lower-ranked player.
We shouldn’t take anything away from Gadecki, who caused an upset by beating Osorio in that semi-final and she’s shown that she’s an improving player, one who likely has a promising WTA future.
Moreover, we’ve seen Gadecki beat big players like Dannielle Collins on her way to reaching the final, which should not be overlooked, but this may just be a step too far.
For the Aussie, this will be a new experience, while Frech knows what it feels like to not only reach a final but to win one, which is not something to overlook.
If we consider the extra experience that the Pole has and combine it with the fact that she’s the much higher-ranked player, then it’s not too difficult to conclude that she’s worthy of greater market supremacy. While she doesn’t, betting on her to win offers us a nice chunk of value.
