As Newcastle and Aston Villa go head-to-head at St. James’ Park, visiting forward Morgan Rogers, who has been a real handful for opposing defenses this season, looks a good bet to register a shot on target.

Rogers is Aston Villa’s second most prolific shot taker having taken 32 shots this season, averaging 2.06 per 90 minutes. He’s also been shooting with regularity when Villa play in big games, firing off two or more shots against the likes of Man City, Spurs, Leipzig, Arsenal, Man United and Bologna.

Effective on the break and from range, Rogers is likely to get into shooting positions as his team come up against a Newcastle side that will push forward and leave gaps at home, so don’t be surprised if he tests Nick Pope at least once.

Southampton vs West Ham - Tyler Dibling Over 0.5 Shots on Target

It’s been a poor campaign for the Saints, there can be no denying that, but that shouldn’t overshadow the fact that 18-year-old Tyler Dibling has been something of a shining star.

The youngster has delivered several promising performances, while he’s been keen to shoot in recent games, especially recent games of this nature, with him shooting three times against Spurs and twice against Brighton. He hit the target at least once in both of those games.

The Hammers have been very poor at the back of late, which should leave Dibling, who likes to pick up the ball, drive forward and shoot, licking his lips.

Nottingham Forest vs Tottenham - Morgan Gibbs-White Over 0.5 Shots on Target

Last but certainly not least, we come to Morgan Gibbs-White, who as one of Nottingham Forest’s chief offensive threats, will surely be super excited to get at a Spurs defense that has been in awful form of late.

Only Chris Wood has taken more shots than Gibbs-White for Forest this season, even though the 24-year-old has had his campaign interrupted by injury.

Since returning from a lay-off, Gibbs-White has been in fine shooting form, taking two or more shots in four of his five Premier League starts, registering five shots on target during that time. I like those stats.
