The Three Lions get back down to business on Thursday evening. This time they’re up against the Danes, who’re never easy to beat, as Southgate and his men found out at the previous European Championships.

For many punters, bet builders are the order of the day, especially when it comes to big England games, so let’s see what we can do ahead of this Group C clash. Read on for Denmark vs England bet builders predictions.

Denmark vs England bet builder tips

This game will be played on 20/06/2024 at Deutsche Bank Park (Frankfurt). Kick off is set for 17:00 GMT.

In addition to previewing this game in more detail, including speaking about two single bets, here’s an attractive-looking bet builder, paying 9/1 with bet365.

Both Teams to Score

Both teams have the ability to hurt each other here, perhaps more so than early quotes of 11/10 with bet365 would have us believe.

Sure, the Serbs failed to net against the Three Lions, but had they showed a little more composure in the final third, they probably would have. Extra composure is something that this Danish side has, so it'll hardly be a shock if they do some damage to a back-line that is yet to really be tested in Germany.

At the same time, though, the Danes didn’t offer too much resistance against Slovenia in their first game, not only conceding a goal, but giving up a few decent chances, being saved by the post on one occasion.

Such an effort doesn’t exactly point towards keeping it tight against an English team that when it all clicks can make a big splash offensively, even that happens a little too rarely at big tournaments.

Christian Eriksen Over 0.5 Shots On Target

I, along with thousands of other not just Denmark but football fans, was delighted to see Eriksen score in Denmark’s opener, and I’m very much of the opinion that he’ll be a threat in this game.

I won’t bore any of those who’ve read my Denmark vs England predictions and tips article, with an in-depth analysis here, but let’s just say this is a man who continues to be a big shooting threat.

View post on Twitter

He’ll like to get the time and space to operate that he desires in a game of this nature, while he’s coming off the back of scoring last time out, so should be brimming with confidence.

He took five shots against Slovenia, and factor in an average of 0.85 shots on target per 90 minutes in qualifying and the Nations League for Denmark and odds of 13/8 look a little generous to me.

Pierre-Emile Hojberg Over 1.5 Fouls

Combative and hard-working, Pierre-Emile Hojberg may not be first choice for Spurs anymore, but as he wore the armband in that first game against Slovenia, he’s a big player for Denmark.

If Denmark are to get something here, then Hojberg’s tenacity and no-nonsense approach to breaking up play will be critical. Unfortunately, those traits could see him gain the attention of the referee, as he often does.

For Tottenham Hotspur last season, as a frequently used sub, the central midfielder gave away 1.36 fouls per 90 minutes, often conceding several fouls in games against the biggest teams.

He only gave away one foul against Slovenia, but with this much harder task for his side, don’t be surprised if the game is stopped thanks to a Hojberg foul on more than one occasion. I certainly won’t be.
