After waiting for what felt like a long time, even with Euro 2024 to help bridge the usual gap between top-tier seasons, the Premier League is back and already we’ve reached the second round of games.
On Saturday (24/08/2024), there are no less than seven Premier League games to keep us entertained, which will be music to the ears of accumulator bettors, who’ve got loads of options.
With plenty of Premier League action to get stuck into, let’s see if we can pick out an acca bet that gives us a run for our money. Read on for our Premier League Accumulator bets.
Accumulator tips for today
All of the games featured in this accumulator are due to take place on 24/08/2024, starting at 15:00 GMT.
With plenty to choose from this weekend, we’re heading down the player route once more, with three player-bet selections forming a treble bet that pays over 9/1 with bet365.
Crystal Palace vs West Ham - Jarrod Bowen to Score or Assist
The first port of call as far as this acca is concerned sees us head to Selhurst Park, where Crystal Palace and West Ham go head-to-head, in what will be Palace’s second all-London fixture of the season.
Both teams came unstuck on the opening day, further fuelling their desire to win here, so we could see a decent game between two teams going for the victory.
From a betting point of view, I can’t get away from Jarrod Bowen’s price of 6/4 to make a telling contribution by scoring or assisting.
The new West Ham captain didn’t do either last weekend, but I won’t be writing him off quickly. Having revealed that he’s excited by Lopetegui’s plan, and with him being given the arm band, I expect the 27-year-old to get back to doing the business very soon.
After all, Bowen registered 22 goals and assists last season, averaging 0.66 per 90 minutes, making odds of 6/4 look quite chunky indeed.
Against a Palace side that looked a little all over the place at the back last weekend, West Ham’s main man is worth betting on to get his season up and running by either scoring or assisting.
Fulham vs Leicester - Alex Iwobi Over 0.5 Shots on Target
Secondly, I’m going with Fulham bright spark Alex Iwobi to test the Leicester keeper at least once this weekend.
Iwobi scored five goals last season, which is far from an eye-watering figure, but he was no stranger to getting shots off, shooting an average of 2.09 times per 90 minutes.
Having also produced an average of 0.74 shots on target, the winger/forward looks a decent bet to get going in an offensive sense as he takes to the pitch for the first time at Craven Cottage this season, especially as he’s going up against newly promoted opposition.
Southampton vs Nottingham Forest - Morgan Gibbs-White to Score or Assist
Nottingham Forest’s Morgan Gibbs-White completes the trio of player selections here. The playmaker didn’t quite hit the ground running as Forest drew with Bournemouth last weekend, but he’s another player who is likely to start delivering the goods sooner rather than later.
Gibbs-White was a key player for the Tricky Trees last season, producing 15 goals and assists in the Premier League, averaging 0.43 per 90 minutes. He also averaged 0.44 xG/xGA per 90 minutes.
Moreover, the 24-year-old either scored or assisted against six of the ten teams that finished in the bottom half last season, so don’t be surprised if he makes a big impact against newly promoted Southampton on Saturday afternoon.
Recap - Premier League Accumulator tips for 24/08/2024

Jarrod Bowen to Score or Assist
