The weekend is once again nearly upon and for accumulator bettors that means it’s time to dive into the form and start picking out those bets.

Last Saturday was an excellent day for anyone who followed the accumulator, which triumphed at odds of over 9/1, as Morgan Gibbs-White, Jarrod Bowen and Alex Iwobi all obliged in pleasing fashion.

After that winner, we’re hungry for more, so let’s see what we can do ahead of another enticing Saturday of Premier League action. Read on for our Premier League Accumulator bets.

Accumulator tips for today

All of the games featured in this accumulator are due to take place on 31/08/2024, starting at 15:00 GMT.

There’s once again plenty to get stuck into on Saturday, with an appealing BTTS bet and two player bets making up an accumulator paying over 9/1 with bet365.

Brentford vs Southampton - Both Teams to Score

Since returning to the top flight thanks to their Wembley win over Leeds United, the Saints haven’t had it easy. They’ve lost two out of two and are without a goal, which isn’t too promising.

However, it’s early days and there’s no reason for them to lose hope, let’s be honest. As alluded to when previewing this fixture in full, the Bees haven’t exactly defended well at the beginning of this campaign, so this trip to West London is one for the visitors to be optimistic about.

They created a decent amount against Newcastle on match-day and if they can reproduce that effort here, they’ll likely breach a less than secure rearguard.

Unfortunately for the visitors, the hosts look strong going forward. They’ve got options, they’ve got creativity and they've pace and power. All of which is likely to be too much for a weak-looking Saints back-line to handle.

Ipswich vs Fulham - Omari Hutchinson Over 0.5 Shots on Target

Like the Saints, the Tractor Boys are without a win since entering the Premier League following a superb campaign in the second tier.

Facing Liverpool and Man City in their first two games was always going to be difficult and Kieran McKenna’s men unsurprisingly took zero points from those two games, though after two very tough tasks, they may be feeling more optimistic ahead of this weekend’s home game.

The Cottagers have made a decent start, playing well at Old Trafford before winning last weekend, but they’re absolutely an outfit that gives teams a chance, so the home forward ought to fancy themselves here.

Of those tasked with making something happen offensively for Ipswich, Omari Hutchinson looks the most lively. He’s worth betting on to work the visiting keeper in this game.

In Ipswich’s first home game, Hutchinson, cutting in from his out-wide starting position, looked dangerous, and he duly worked Alisson in the Liverpool goal.

Having taken three shots already this season, the youngster will be hungry for more and given that he registered an average of 1.23 shots on target per 90 minutes last season, he looks a good bet here.

Leicester vs Aston Villa - Issahaku Fatawu to Score or Assist

Rounding off this accumulator, I’ve got Leicester Issahaku Fatawu down as a viable bet to make a direct goal contribution at home to Villa.

After he looked like a real prospect in the Championship, I was keen to see how Fatawu would take to the Premier League this season, and of course, it’s still early days, but the signs are positive.

The winger/forward was a real outlet for the Foxes against Spurs, taking the ball under pressure, carrying it forward with pace, power and confidence. His ability to take players on will likely be key for Leicester this season.

The 20-year-old also showed his composure in the final third during that first game when teeing up Jamie Vardy, giving him an early-season average of 0.50 goals and assists per 90 minutes. Factor in his average of 0.61 from last season and he’s a man to keep on side.

Recap - Premier League Accumulator tips for 31/08/2024

Heading into Saturday’s Premier League games, our accumulator bet is as follows:

  • Both Teams to Score (Brentford vs Southampton)

  • Omari Hutchinson Over 0.5 Shots on Target

  • Issahaku Fatawu to Score or Assist

A three-fold accumulator made up of the above selections pays 9.12/1 with bet365.
