It was nice to land an accumulator winner for the second time this season as both Udogie and Joelinton duly obliged by going into the book last weekend, securing a payout of over 10/1. Hopefully we can repeat that trick this weekend.
On Saturday, there are eight Premier League games to get stuck into, leaving us with plenty to choose from. Read on for our Premier League accumulator tips.
Accumulator tips for today
All of the games featured in this accumulator are due to take place on 21/09/2024, starting at 12:30 and 15:00 (GMT).
Yellow cards are on the menu this week, with three players appealing in the ‘to Be Booked’ market, making up a three-fold accumulator paying over 55/1 with Boylesports.
West Ham vs Chelsea - Mohammed Kudus to Be Booked
Starting with the early game on Saturday, West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus to go in the book rates as a strong option at odds of 9/2.
Kudus is yet to receive a yellow this season, but he’s been walking a bit of tightrope, committing six fouls in the opening four games, so it likely won’t be long before the all-action, high-intensity midfielder gets his name taken.
Let’s not forget that the Ghanaian picked up six yellow last season, averaging 0.21 bookings per game. Three of his cards came against teams that finished inside the top eight too.
Tottenham vs Brentford - Christian Norgaard to Be Booked
A man who finds it very difficult to evade referee attention is Brentford Christian Norgaard, whose second yellow card of the season is almost certainly right around the corner.
The midfielder was booked away at Liverpool on match-day two and has since avoided getting his name taken, but don’t be surprised if that changes here.
A key part of the Brentford midfield, Norgaard, who was previously linked with a move to Spurs, is regularly tasked with getting stuck in and breaking up play, which he does well, but he regularly oversteps the mark, making five fouls so far this season.
Consider also that he picked up eight yellows last season, getting booked in many of Brentford’s big games - against Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Aston Villa and Tottenham - and he becomes an integral addition as far as this accumulator is concerned.
Leicester vs Everton - Idrissa Gueye to Be Booked
Last but certainly not least, the walking, talking yellow card machine that Idrissa Gueye has somehow avoided receiving a card so far this season, but I expect that to change very soon indeed.
The 34-year-old midfielder, who is once again an important part of the Toffees set-up, has committed seven fouls thus far, while he was booked eight times last season, averaging a lofty 0.38 cards per 90 minutes.
Gueye will beyond a shadow of a doubt get his name taken soon and as part of this accumulator, I’m betting that happens at King Power Stadium on Saturday.
