The season isn’t very far along, so it's still early days, but it's been a case of so far, so good on the accumulator front, with two Premier League multiple bets landed (out of five), both at very nice odds.
We’re back at it again this weekend, searching for a selection of bets to make up a juicy accumulator bet. Let’s see what we can come up with. Read on for our Premier League accumulator tips.
Accumulator tips for today
All of the games featured in this accumulator are due to take place on 05/10/2024, starting at 15:00 GMT.
Four bets make up Saturday's accumulator and this week it’s all about shots on target. Let’s get stuck in.
Crystal Palace vs Liverpool - Eberechi Eze Over 0.5 Shots on Target
Starting with the early kick off, I’m siding with Palace’s main man Eberechi Eze, who may just be watching Michael Olise enjoy himself for giants Bayern Munich and wondering why it’s not him, to test Liverpool stopper Allison.
The goals haven’t exactly come thick and fast for Eze this season, but the Englishman cannot be criticised for not shooting enough. Last time out, he fired off five shots, while he’s averaging 4.17 shots per 90 minutes, 1.17 of which hit the target (on average).
As a man who often comes alive in the big games, he’s a must-include player as far as this accumulator is concerned.
West Ham vs Ipswich - Liam Delap Over 0.5 Shots on Target
Moving on to the first of three 3pm kick-offs. In-form forward Liam Delap, who scored not once but twice against Aston Villa last weekend will be looking to continue impressing for his new team.
With those goals under his belt, Delap will be buzzing with confidence and the direct, ready-to-shoot striker is well worth betting on to work the opposition keeper at least once. After all, he’s averaging 0.99 shots on target per 90 minutes in an Ipswich shirt.
Brentford vs Wolves - Jorgen Strand Larsen Over 0.5 Shots on Target
Another summer signing getting the nod here is Wolves’ Jorgen Strand Larsen, who having thrived in a Celta Vigo shirt last season has rather rapidly become a regular in Gary O’Neil’s Premier League line-up.
The Norwegian scored against Chelsea on match-day two, and while he hasn’t registered since, he’s looked hungry and will undoubtedly go searching for his next goal at every opportunity.
Shooting five times, Strand Larsen has mustered a shot on target in two of his last three games. Against what can only be described as an open-looking Brentford team, I’m betting Norwegian to make that three in four.
Leicester vs Bournemouth - Stephy Mavididi Over 0.5 Shots on Target
Last but certainly not least, Stephy Mavididi makes it three out of four English players here. The Leicester forward scored on a regular basis in the Championship last season and already has two goals in the Premier League for the Foxes this term, showing that he’s very much capable of cutting it at this level.
The hosts will be up against a forward-thinking Bournemouth team on Saturday, which does of course present problems, but it should also present space to break into, which is where Mavididi can feature.
In his last two games against teams outside of the top two, the forward has taken six shots, hitting the target twice. That’ll do for me.
Recap - Premier League Accumulator tips for 05/10/2024
There we have it, a shot-on-target four-fold ahead of Saturday’s Premier League action:
Eberechi Eze Over 0.5 Shots on Target
Liam Delap Over 0.5 Shots on Target
Jorgen Strand Larsen Over 0.5 Shots on Target
Stephy Mavididi Over 0.5 Shots on Target
A four-fold accumulator made up of the above selections pays 8.16/1 with Betway.
