We weren’t far away from landing a third accumulator win of the season prior to the international break, with just one of the four legs letting us down. That’s the way it often goes in this game, though. Onwards and upwards!
Following the international break, the Premier League returns, so let’s see what we can come up with from an acca betting point of view. Read on for our Premier League accumulator tips.
Accumulator tips for today
All of the games featured in this accumulator are due to take place on 19/10/2024, with the first starting at 12:30 GMT, followed by the next at 15:00 GMT, while the final game kicks off at 17:30 GMT.
Three selections come together to form Saturday’s accumulator bet, which pays 9.9/1 with Betway.
Tottenham vs West Ham - Jarrod Bowen Over 0.5 Shots on Target
We’ll kick things off at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, where West Ham will be looking to cause a bit of an upset.
Against a Spurs side that continues to struggle defensively, the Hammers should fancy themselves to cause plenty of problems on the break, where Jarrod Bowen is likely to threaten.
Bowen has been in a shooting mood in recent games, taking no less than two shots in any of his last five appearances, while he’s taken an eye-catching total of eight shots in his last two games.
Having hit the target against both Manchester City and Chelsea, the Englishman likes to make an impact in big games, that’s for sure. Factor in that he’s averaging 1.04 shots on target per 90 minutes this season and he serves as a good starting point for this acca.
Fulham vs Aston Villa - Sander Berge to be Booked
Yet to be booked for Fulham, Sander Berge is not exactly known for his good behaviour. A rugged midfielder, who is far from shy to get stuck in, Berge often gives away fouls, while he’s no stranger to attracting negative referee attention.
Don’t be fooled by the fact that he’s yet to go in the book this season, Berge is easily averaging more than one foul per game, while let’s not forget, this is a player who was booked no less than 10 times for Burnley last season.
For Sheffield United in the Premier League, during the 2020-21 campaign, Berge averaged 0.32 cards per 90 minutes.
Following his booking for Norway during the international break, with this being a tough test for the Cottagers, Berge looks a decent bet to get carded here.
Bournemouth vs Arsenal - Antoine Semenyo Over 0.5 Shots on Target
Rounding this accumulator off, I’m going with Antoine Semenyo to register a shot on target against Arsenal. Of course, this is going to be tough for the hosts, but they will get chances on the break, and it is on the break where Semenyo can be deadly.
The fast-paced, forward-thinking winger/forward has been anything but shy to shoot this season. In fact, no player has taken more shots for Bournemouth than Semenyo, who averages a whopping 4.60 shots per 90 minutes. He also averages 1.04 shots on target per 90 minutes. That’ll do for me.
Recap - Premier League Accumulator tips for 19/10/2024
As the Premier League returns on Saturday, here’s a three-legged accumulator bet:
Jarrod Bowen Over 0.5 Shots on Target
Sander Berge to be Booked
Antoine Semenyo Over 0.5 Shots on Target
A three-fold accumulator made up of the above selections pays 9.9/1 with Betway.
