As the Premier League returns following the international break on Saturday, two teams looking to build on decent results last time out will clash at Goodison Park.
While the Toffees are looking to resume winning ways having held the Hammers to a draw on the road, keeping a clean sheet in the process, the Bees will be looking to sting for the second game in a row after beating Bournemouth. Read on for our Everton vs Brentford predictions and tips.

Everton vs Brentford head-to-head statistics
This will be the first time that the pair have met this season. Last term, the Toffees won by a goal to nil at home, having previously beaten the Bees by three goals to one in London. Each of the last three renewals of this fixture has gone the way of Everton, who are now unbeaten in four against Brentford.
Everton vs Brentford preview
This match will be played on 23/11/2024 at Goodison Park. Kick off will be at 15:00 GMT.
Given how the season started for Sean Dyche’s men, who were massively struggling after four games, so much so that the manager was heavily fancied for the chop, it’s fair to say that the last month or so has been promising.
After collecting their first point of the season by drawing against Leicester back in September, the Toffees went on a five-game unbeaten run, while they’ve lost just one of their last seven. Progress indeed.
Scoring goals continues to be an issue for Saturday’s hosts, but they’ve certainly regained their defensive solidity, which for now at least, is probably good enough to keep Dyche in a job.
As far as the Bees are concerned, it’s been a mixed bag, with them often stinging teams at home, but benign squashed on the road.
We saw Thomas Frank’s men win against Bournemouth last time out, in typical high-scoring fashion, but they’ve found it very tricky to replicate such efforts away from the comforts of home. Can they improve their travelling fortunes after four straight away-day defeats?

Ahead of the action at Goodison Park, my value-seeking eyes are taken by a single player bet.
Jesper Lindstrom Anytime Scorer
Everton’s Danish winger Jesper Lindstrom is yet to score since arriving at Goodison Park, but I wouldn’t be too quick to dismiss him as a player who doesn’t carry much of a threat.
It’s likely that Lindstrom is now settling in and after starting each of the last two league games, playing 88 minutes against the Saints, before seeing out the full game against the Hammers last weekend, I really wouldn’t be surprised if the Dane started to deliver the goods.
In spells, he’s looked threatening, while he’s certainly direct, shooting an average of 3.06 times per 90 minutes, averaging 1.55 shots on target per 90 too. Such stats catch the eye.
It’s also worth mentioning that Lindstrom isn’t exactly averse to scoring when playing regularly. He notched seven in 27 Bundesliga appearances for Frankfurt during the 2022/23 campaign.
Having taken six shots in his last two starts, averaging 0.25 xG per game, ahead of a match against a Brentford side that has been up there with the worst in the league in terms of defensive strength, Lindstrom looks nicely priced to register his first goal for the Toffees.
