For one final time before Christmas, there’s weekend action in the Premier League. For accumulator bettors, now is the time to try and top up the Christmas cheer.
In England’s top flight on Saturday afternoon, there are five games for us to bite into with the hope of finding a juicy fourth winning accumulator of the campaign. Read on for our Premier League football accumulator tips.
Accumulator tips for today
All of the games featured in this accumulator are due to take place on 21/12/2024, with the first starting at 12:30 GMT, the second starting at 15:00 GMT, before the final game takes place at 17:30 GMT.
As is often the case, three bets combine to form this festive acca, which pays just over 6/1 with betway. Oh, and Merry Christmas.
Aston Villa vs Man City - Morgan Rogers 1+ Shot on Target
Let’s begin with the early kick off, which is a game between Aston Villa and Manchester City, which unlike in previous seasons, is likely a fixture that has the hosts feeling rather hopeful.
We’ve witnessed Man City fall apart in recent weeks, with Guardiola’s men failing to win all but one of their last 11 fixtures, so this is definitely a good time for Villa to play the Citizens.
What we’ve also seen on a regular basis is that the visitors give up chances and shots from promising positions, so someone like Morgan Rogers should be excited about this game.
The Englishman has had an excellent season, picking up four goals and two assists in the Premier League, and has arguably been Villa’s best performer.
From a shooting point of view, Rogers has performed well. Only Ollie Watkins has taken more shots for Villa this season, with the 22-year-old averaging a very solid 1.92 shots per 90 minutes. He also comes into this game having shot plenty in recent weeks, attempting ten shots in his last four, so don’t be surprised if he works Ederson at least once on Saturday.
Brentford vs Nottingham Forest - Morgan Gibbs-White 1+ Shot on Target
Moving on, we have Brentford vs Nottingham Forest, where I’m interested in Morgan Gibbs-White as a’1+ Shot on Target’ selection.
A key player for the Tricky Trees, Gibbs-White is a tricky customer, one who doesn’t need too much of an invitation to pull the trigger. We recently saw the 24-year-old score from outside the box against United, while he’s now taken eight shots in his last four appearances.
Better still, in each of those four appearances, Gibbs-White has registered at least one shot on target, averaging 1.25. Against an open and leaky Brentford defence, he’s well worth betting on to test the opposing keeper for the fifth game on the spin.
Crystal Palace vs Arsenal - Eberechi Eze 1+ Shot on Target
Rounding things off, we’re at Selhurst Park, where regular shooter Eberechi Eze looks nicely priced to register at least one shot on target.
Far from shy to shoot, Eze has looked to test opposing keepers at every opportunity this season, firing off no less than 43 shots, meaning that he averages a very chunky 3.59 shots per 90 minutes.
The 26-year-old England international also averages 1.09 shots on target, which is pleasing, while he’s no stranger to shooting on target in the biggest games, shooting between the posts against Chelsea, Man United, Liverpool, Tottenham and Aston Villa this season. That’ll do for me.
