After the lull that takes place just before and during Christmas, us punters are usually chomping at the bit to get stuck in on Boxing Day, so it’s just as well that there’s no shortage of action.
On Boxing Day, there’s more than enough Premier League action to keep accumulator bettors in the festive mood, with no less than eight games taking place. Read on for our Premier League Boxing Day accumulator tips.
Accumulator tips for today
All of the games featured in this accumulator are due to take place on 26/12/2024, with the first two starting at 15:00 GMT, followed by the final game, which takes place at 17:30 GMT.
As is often the case, three bets combine to form this Boxing Day acca, which pays 6.87/1 with Betfred.
Nottingham Forest vs Tottenham - Nottingham Forest to Score Over 1.5 Goals
We’ll kick the Boxing Day accumulator off with a trip to the City Ground, where Nottingham Forest look a decent bet to score at least two goals against a Spurs defence that continues to struggle.
We’ve seen lots of offensive quality from Forest in recent weeks, and I’m not entirely convinced that the early market reflects that accurately enough, especially given the lack of defensive quality shown by the visitors.
The hosts have notched multiple goals in each of their last three, while Spurs have shipped two more in four of their last five in all competitions.
Bournemouth vs Crystal Palace - Over 2.5 Goals
The game due to take place at Vitality Stadium is a game between two teams in promising scoring form. The hosts arrive off the back of hammering home three at Old Trafford, while the Eagles have been scoring with regularity of late, scoring two or more in three of their last four.
The visitors have also made a habit of being entangled in high-scoring games on the road, with three or more goals being scored in all but one of their last six away games.
Wolves vs Man United - Wolves to Score Over 1.5 Goals
Last but not least, it’s to Molineux, where the hosts are worth betting on to take advantage of what is a dodgy visiting backline.
Under their new manager, Wolves shifted through the offensive gears on the road last time out, scoring three goals, showing that they’re very capable in the final third. At the same time, United showed that they’re anything but capable of keeping it tight at the back.
The hosts have scored two or more in three of their last four at home. I'm betting on them to make that four out of their last five on Boxing Day.
