The Foxes are looking to scavenge some valuable points as they try to turn the tide in the fight for survival, while the Bees will be hoping to store some honey in the form of three points following that pleasing away win last time out.

We’re here to try and uncover some value betting angles. Read on for our Leicester vs Brentford value bets.

Leicester vs Brentford value betting tips

This game takes place on 21/02/2025 at King Power Stadium. Kick off will be at 20:00 GMT.

Two player bets, both of which favour the hosts, appeal most from a maximum amount of value standpoint.

Facundo Buonanotte to Score or Assist

There’s hasn’t been too much for the Foxes to shout about this season, though the performances of the on-loan Facundo Buonanotte have often been positive, with the 20-year-old contributing four goals and two assists in the Premier League, which is far from a poor total given that he’s often used as an impact sub as opposed to a starter.

In terms of goals, Buonanotte averages 0.31 per 90 minutes, while he averages 0.16 assists per 90 minutes. That’s a combined average of 0.47 goals and assists per 90 minutes. It’s not as if he’s overperformed in that sense either, with his number being nicely backed up by an average of 0.48 expected goals and assists per 90 minutes.

In relation to the numbers above, odds of 2/1 look a little generous. If the lively Argentine starts against a Brentford side that has been far from defensively secure this season, such odds are absolutely worth taking.

Bobby Reid to Score or Assist

For very similar reasons, Bobby Reid also stands out as a solid bet to score or assist against a defensively dodgy visiting team.

Something of an all-rounder, during his time in the Premier League with Cardiff, Fulham and Leicester, Bobby Reid has played in a variety of different positions, and has proven himself to be an incredibly versatile footballer.

Used more sparingly under the previous regime, Reid has started to feature more heavily in recent weeks, and he’s repaid the faith shown in him by Ruud van Nistelrooy with some goal contributions.

Playing as a winger, he picked up two assists in the win against Spurs, before scoring against Manchester United in the cup.

Sure, he failed to either score or assist when playing 85 minutes against Arsenal last weekend, but let’s be honest, he can be forgiven for that, while it’s not difficult to see him making a more telling contribution against a much lesser Brentford side here.

An average of 0.51 goals and assists per 90 minutes in the Premier League this season is hard to ignore, especially with odds of 2/1 on offer.

Recap - Leicester vs Brentford best value bets

The table below shows the odds available for our value betting tips at the time of writing, as well as what I consider to be fair odds for these selections. It’s important to note that to take value, you should be taking odds that are bigger than the fair odds. If bigger odds are not available, then there’s no value, which means no bet.
