After the weekend’s Premier League fixtures begin at King Power Stadium on Friday night, Saturday kicks off with a lunchtime fixture at Goodison Park, where Everton and Man United both go in search of a win that would push them closer to the top half.

Jesper Lindstrom 1+ Shot on Target
It hasn’t exactly been an electric season for Jesper Lindstrom, who has only had a limited impact for the Toffees in terms of tangible goal contributions, though the Danish winger has often looked lively, while he’s now getting a decent run in the team thanks to the likes of Iliman Ndiaye and Dominic Calvert-Lewin being sidelined.
In recent games, especially at home, Lindstrom has got into some really dangerous positions, testing the keeper in home wins against both Spurs and Leicester, while he also hit the target against Palace last weekend, making it three shots on target in his last five league appearances.
In general, the Dane has shown a reasonable shooting appetite this season, averaging 2.37 shots per 90 minutes in the Premier League, averaging a respectable 0.88 shots on target per 90 too.
Given how poor Saturday’s visitors have been at the back, it’s far from difficult to see Lindstrom getting into shooting positions in this game, and if we consider his fairly encouraging stats, then odds of 21/20 look a tad generous.

At odds of 11/2, I also can’t help but conclude that there’s a smidgen of value to be had by betting on Lindstrom to find the net.
Admittedly, the 24-year-old has struggled for goals since arriving at Goodison Park, but as touched on above, he’s been getting into good positions and is certainly happy to pull the trigger.
Moreover, he’s up against a United rearguard that will certainly give plenty away, so don’t be surprised if he finally gets off the mark. The question has to be asked, playing as part of a front four, against poor opposition, with his team in good form, should he be as big as 11/2 to notch that first goal in Everton colours? For me, the answer is no, he shouldn’t be.
