There’s no Premier League action this week, which may not please fans of top-tier clubs, but there’s still plenty of football for bettors to get stuck into, with several international fixtures due to take place in the UEFA Nations League, starting on Thursday evening.

This accumulator bet starts with the Greece vs Scotland game, kicking off at 17:00 GMT on Thursday, played in Piraeus at the home of Olympiacos.
I’ve already touched on this bet when writing about Greece vs Scotland value bet in general, so I won’t go into too much detail here, but it is worth mentioning just how impressive Scott McTominay has been from a shooting point of view in recent times and not just for his nation.
In the UEFA Nations League, McTominay has taken more shots than any other Scotland player, while he’s also been the best performing player in terms shots on target, averaging a very pleasing 1.37 shots on target per 90 minutes.
In recent domestic games, the now attack-minded midfielder has been shooting with serious regularity too, hitting the target in six of his last seven starts for Napoli in Serie A, registering a total of ten shots on target during that time.
Croatia vs France - Andrej Kramaric Over 0.5 Shots on Target
Later in the evening, there’s a tasty encounter taking place in Split, where Croatia and France will go head-to-head at Stadion Poljund.
The visitors are strongly fancied to get the job done over two legs and they likely will, but we shouldn’t discount the Croats in this first leg. They’re no mugs at home, while their experienced forwards could easily do some damage.
Of those experienced forwards in Andrej Kramaric, who at the age of 33, continues to deliver some top performances for his nation. To be honest, during the current Nations League campaign, Kramaric has arguably been the most dangerous player at Zlatko Dalic’s disposal.
The Hoffenheim forward has registered more shots on target than any other Croatia player this time around, averaging a very impressive 1.77 shots on target per 90 minutes. When last on international duty, he registered two shots on target against Portugal, so don’t be too surprised if he works as the visiting keeper on Thursday.
Ukraine vs Belgium - Heorhii Sudakov Over 0.5 Shots on Target
Rounding things off, it’s a selection in the game between Ukraine and Belgium, who will battle it out for a place in League A at Estadio Enrique Roca.
Shakhtar’s Heorhii Sudakov comes into this game having recently scored twice at club level, while he’s no stranger to going for goal in the yellow and blue of Ukraine either. In fact, no Ukraine player has taken more shots than Sudakov during the current UEFA Nations League campaign.
Sudakov is also Ukraine’s best player in terms of shots on target, with the number ten averaging a promising 1.01 shots on target per 90 minutes in this competition.
We know that the Red Devils are going to make this tricky for the Ukrainians, but the team playing this home game in Spain can definitely hurt teams, especially on the break, and it’s on the break that the current Belgium crop have often struggled.
Having taken four shots, hitting the target three times, when last in action for his nation, Sudakov looks a great bet to make Thibaut Courtois work at least once in this game.
