During the current UEFA Nations League campaign, Dush Vlahovic remains without a goal, which may not fill potential bettors with confidence, though the Juventus forward hasn’t exactly played poorly, while he’s looked dangerous in several games without quite getting the rub of the green, including in the first leg of this tie.

Let’s be honest, Vlahovic has looked as dangerous as anyone in this Serbian team, while the Austrians haven’t exactly covered themselves in defensive glory on the road, so don’t be too surprised if we see him pick up his first goal of the competition on Sunday. I won’t be.

Christoph Baumgartner to Score

I put up Austria’s Christoph Baumgartner to score on Thursday. Spoiler alert, he didn’t find the net. However, the RB Leipzig man delivered a lively performance, suggesting that his next goal isn’t far away, so much so that odds of 7/2 look a little on the large side.

The Serbs looked far from secure defensively in Vienna, and it’s not unfair to say that the Austrians should have scored considerably more goals than the one that they did, so don’t be surprised if the men managed by Ralf Rangnick do well offensively on Sunday evening.

If the visitors can thrive in the final third, Baumgartner is likely to play a significant role, much as he has done throughout this Nations League campaign. After all, this is a player who has taken an average of 3.79 shots per 90 minutes in this competition, averaging 1.26 shots on target per 90 minutes too. In that sense, he’s Austria’s best player.

I remain of the opinion that the 25-year-old is due a goal and nothing about his latest effort, in which he took four shots (one on target), tells me that he’ll fail to threaten here. 7/2 is well worth taking if you ask me.
