After two consecutive weekends without top-flight football in England, the Premier League is back on Tuesday evening, when three games are due to kick off, including a battle at the Emirates between Arsenal and Fulham, as well as action at City Ground, where Nottingham Forest and Man United clash.
Ahead of Tuesday’s action, I’m back on the hunt for some acca value, looking for a fifth winning accumulator of the campaign. Read on for our Premier League football accumulator tips for 01/03/2025.
Accumulator tips for today
All of the games featured in this accumulator are due to take place on 01/04/2025, starting at 19:45 GMT.
Three selections appeal, all of which involve individual players. Let’s get stuck in below.
Arsenal vs Fulham - Raul Jimenez Over 0.5 Shots on Target
We’ll kick things off with a bet on Fulham’s Raul Jimenez to test the home keeper. Sure, the Cottagers didn’t exactly get back down to domestic business with a bang on Saturday, but I’m not going to rush to conclude that they’ll be unable to get competitive offensively in this one.
After all, Jimenez didn’t start at the weekend, and it’s not as if the Mexican has struggled to make his presence felt in games of this nature, scoring against Arsenal in the reverse fixture.
What’s more, the 33-year-old is Fulham’s best performer in terms of shots this season, shooting an average of 3.63 times per 90 minutes in the league. He also averages 1.23 shots on target per 90 minutes and comes into this game having recently registered shots on target in big games against Nottingham Forest and Newcastle. Earlier in the season, he was on target against Chelsea, Spurs, Aston Villa, oh, and as mentioned above, Arsenal. That’ll do for me.
Wolves vs West Ham - Jorgen Strand Larsen Over 0.5 Shots on Target
Moving on, and it’s hard not to include Jorgen Strand Larsen here, who given the odds available, looks generously priced. The Norwegian went into the international break off the back of scoring a brace away at Southampton, notching his eighth and ninth Premier League goals of the season.
In addition, this is a man who has been rather accurate with his shots. He’s not necessarily a five-shots-per-game forward, instead keeping his powder dry for longer than many, but he tends to use his shots wisely, hitting the target with a chunky 66.7% of his efforts.
This season, he’s averaging 1.13 shots on target per 90 minutes in the league, while he’s worked the opposition keeper at least once in each of his last two starts, as well as in four of his last five starts.
Nottingham Forest vs Man United - Alejandro Garnacho Over 0.5 Shots on Target
Finishing this one off, it’s Alejandro Garnacho. Flattering to deceive at times, the clearly useful Argentine splits opinion amongst Premier League onlookers, but his appetite for shooting cannot be denied.
Only Bruno Fernandes has taken more shots for United than Garnacho this season, with the 20-year-old registering a promising 3.40 shots per 90 minutes. He also averages 1.37 shots on target per 90 minutes, while it’s fair to say that he comes into Tuesday’s fixture in decent form.
Last time out at Leicester, Garnacho got on the scoresheet, registering a shot on target for the second game in a row. He’s now managed eight shots on target in his last five games, shooting no less than 19 times during that spell. Such numbers make him hard to avoid here.
Recap - Premier League Accumulator tips for 01/04/2025
As the Premier League returns at a crucial stage of the season, the following bets combine to form a juicy accumulator:
Raul Jimenez Over 0.5 Shots on Target
Jorgen Strand Larsen Over 0.5 Shots on Target
Alejandro Garnacho Over 0.5 Shots on Target
A three-fold accumulator made up of the above selections pays 4.86/1 with betway.
