The UEFA Champions League quarter-finals conclude this week, when eight will become four. On Tuesday evening, there’s top-tier continental action in the German City of Dortmund, where BVB and Barcelona will clash for the second time in a week.
Can the men in yellow turn tie around after losing the first leg by a rather resounding four goals to nil away from home? Or will the visitors make light work of completing the job? Read on for our Dortmund vs Barcelona player betting tips.
Dortmund vs Barcelona player betting tips
This game takes place on 15/04/2025 at Signal Iduna Park. Kick off will be at 20:00 GMT.
Two player bets appeal ahead of Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League clash at Signal Iduna Park.
Julian Ryerson to be Booked
Looking at the early player-to-be-booked market ahead of the game at Signal Iduna Park, Julian Ryerson looks a little generously priced to pick up what would be a ninth yellow of the campaign.
The Norwegian full-back isn’t exactly unfamiliar with getting on the wrong side of referees, being booked more times than all but two of the other Dortmund players, while he’s the player in the squad with the most fouls to his name in all competitions.
We haven’t seen Ryerson go in the book for a while, but don’t make the mistake of thinking that he’s cleaned up his act. After all, this is a man that gets booked in the big games, receiving a yellow in Bundesliga games against Leipzig, Stuttgart and Bayern.
All in all, I’m a little surprised that the 27-year-old is closer to the front of the market here, so much so that a price of 7/2 should be snapped up by value hunters.
Karim Adeyemi Over 0.5 Shots on Target
Karim Adeyemi didn’t exactly set the game alight last week, getting hooked at half-time after the highlight of his performance was an early booking. In other words, the young forward didn’t get much right. However, we shouldn’t assume that this precocious talent will fail to make an impact on home soil.
After all, we’re talking about a player who has got himself heavily involved in big games this season, scoring against Lille, Sporting and Celtic in this competition, while in a shooting sense, he’s typically performed well in the Champions League, hitting the target at least once against Club Brugge, Celtic, Sporting (home and away) and Lille.
On the continent this season, the 23-year-old averages 1.33 shots on target per 90 minutes, while he’s registered four shots on target in five knockout games so far. I like such stats.

The table below shows the odds available for our player betting tips (at the time of writing), as well as what I consider to be fair odds for these bets. To be clear, to take value, you should be taking odds that are bigger than the fair odds. If bigger odds are not available, then there’s no value, which means no bet.
