Sunday’s Premier League action kicks off on the south coast, where at Vitality Stadium, Bournemouth and Man United will go head-to-head. Can the hosts win to keep their UEFA Conference League dreams alive?

For the visitors, the domestic campaign is now all a bit pointless. They’re not getting anywhere near the top eight and almost certainly won’t even finish in the top half, and with their big Europa League semi-final just around the corner, they could likely do without this game. Read on for our Man United player betting tips.

This game takes place on 27/04/2025 at Vitality Stadium. Kick off will be at 14:00 GMT.

Punters looking to get stuck into some of the player bet variety ahead of Sunday’s action at Vitality Stadium should consider this:

Antoine Semenyo to Assist

During what has been a promising campaign for the Cherries, we’ve seen lots of impressive offensive performances from a variety of players, though few Bournemouth players have been as consistently dangerous as Antoine Semenyo, who at the time of writing has been the second-best performer for Andoni Iraola in terms of direct goal contributions, of which he currently has 12 in the Premier League.

Perhaps known more as a goal scorer than anything else, the man with eight league goals to his name is certainly no stranger to creating chances. Four assists at this stage of the campaign doesn’t sound too impressive, though I think we can safely say that the Englishman has been a little unlucky not to record a few more than that, with him providing lots of good service this season.

Semenyo hasn’t recorded an assist in the league since February, but I’d be surprised if he ends the term without adding another. When Bournemouth last played at home, Semenyo, who scored the winner, looked in a creative mood, driving at players out wide, before looking to put the ball into inviting areas for the likes of Evanilson and Justin Kluivert.

If we look at the numbers, we can see that no Bournemouth player has contributed more than Semenyo in terms of expected assists, while only one Cherries player has made more key passes (= passes resulting directly in a shot) than the 25-year-old winger, who also happens to be Bournemouth’s best player when it comes to passes into the penalty area.

This is a big game for the hosts, against a United side that really has nothing to fight for, not to mention a United side that has struggled hugely to keep things tight at the best of times this season, conceding three goals when the teams met in the reverse fixture. In other words, as one of the hosts deadliest forward players, don’t be surprised to see Semenyo create plenty here. Given everything above, at odds of 9/2, he looks worth betting on to register an assist.
