BetVictor has been at the forefront of the UK betting scene for years now.

And with such a good reputation, you may be thinking about signing up to the betting site.

But, are all the bold claims and good reviews just clever marketing, or is BetVictor actually worth your time, and more importantly, money?

In this review, we’ll answer this question by taking a deep dive into BetVictor, assessing everything from its safety to the markets available. This should help you to make your assessment of the betting site, to make sure that it’s right for your betting needs.

Throughout this BetVictor review, we will evaluate the platform’s primary features using a qualitative, points-based scale. These points will be converted into star ratings.

For more information on how we test view here.

Overall Rating – 5 stars

BetVictor is a strong all-round betting site, with a diverse selection of markets, an excellent mobile app and good pre-match betting.

Some small annoyances include slow withdrawals and a limited live-streaming service.

However, for the majority of betters, BetVictor will be able to accommodate all of your needs and then some.

Safety – 5 stars

BetVictor is one of the safest betting sites in the UK.

It holds multiple gambling licences and has a perfect track record and reputation.

Licences

The best way to assess the safety of a betting site is to check out the licences that it holds. Luckily, BetVictor holds several of the best.

Primarily, the company holds a licence from the UK Gambling Commission, which means they have to follow strict guidelines to protect customers.

For instance, BetVictor must prove that they have the financial resources to pay any winning bets and meet anti-money laundering requirements.

BetVictor also holds a licence from the government of Gibraltar, where they are based. This is an added layer of protection, and further proves the safety and good-faith nature of the company.

Track Record

Beyond this, BetVictor has an extensive track record of excellent conduct and behaviour. The company was first formed back in 1946 and has never shown any behaviour that should deter you from using the betting site.

Therefore, you can rest assured that BetVictor is an extremely safe betting site.

Pros

  • UKGC License

  • Holds a licence in Gibraltar

  • Perfect track record

Cons

  • None

Mobile Betting App – 5 stars

The BetVictor mobile app is virtually flawless. It has all the ingredients of a perfect app thanks to excellent design, an easy-to-understand interface and good stability.

Look and Feel

The layout of BetVictor’s mobile app is sleek, modern and easy to navigate.

When you open up the app, you’ll be presented with a home page.

There’s a tab at the top of the screen which allows you to choose what kind of bet you’d like to make (Sports/Casino etc).

You’ll then find a list of all the sports under this tab, followed by a handy search menu at the bottom of the screen.

The betting site uses a nice contrast of dark and light colours, which makes it easy to read the smaller fonts and numbers associated with different bet slips.

The colour scheme also gives the app a nice modern touch.

Making a Bet

Making a bet is a seamless process through the BetVictor app.

Simply navigate to the sport that you would like to bet on through the sports tab.

From here, click the specific market you’re looking to bet on, and you’ll be selected with several different bets available to make.

Simply choose the option that best suits you, select the amount you’d like to bet and hit confirm!

User Experience

As you might imagine, our experience with BetVictor’s mobile app was overwhelmingly positive.

It took no time at all to get to know the betting site, and once we had an initial exploration of its features, we could find anything we needed within a second or two.

Making bets is an incredibly simple process, and this only enhances the in-play bets, which are seamless to make in real time.

We also never felt limited in the bets we could make, thanks to the extensive markets available. (see Markets section for more details).

Another excellent feature that only adds to BetVictor’s user-friendliness is the betting calculator.

This allows you to view the potential winnings of a customised bet, helping you to assess whether or not it’s worth wagering your money.

There’s also a blog full of handy betting tips and advice, which is yet another nice touch.

Finally, BetVictor proved to be one of the most stable betting apps we’ve used. It didn’t ever crash on me, lag/slow down, or even show any visual glitches. This made using that a little bit more appealing.

Check out our roundup too where we placed BetVictor among the best betting apps in the UK.

Pros

  • Great design

  • Easy to make a bet

  • The app is technically solid

Cons

  • None

Website – 5 stars

Overall, BetVictor’s website is just as good as its mobile app, with a clean interface and user-friendly design.

However, one or two minor tweaks would make this already good site even better.

Look and Feel

The website looks pretty much the same as the mobile version, only on a bigger screen.

The continuity between the mobile app and website makes it easy to switch between betting sites, depending on where you are.

Most people will probably slightly prefer the web version over the mobile app.

However, this is purely because the website offers a larger screen for you to view your bets.

On the other hand, if you’re on the go, or even live betting at the event itself, the mobile app is the more practical choice.

The one thing that we didn’t like about the website’s design was the ‘Roulette Mini Games’ tab on the right-hand side.

We found that these look like a Google Ad, taking away from the otherwise clean design.

Furthermore, the main sports tab is smaller as a result of this sidebar, which can become annoying when you want to view a wide range of betting options on a bigger screen.

User Experience

Just like the mobile counterpart, BetVictor’s website is seriously good to use in an everyday setting.

Aside from the annoying sidebar, everything is where it should be, navigation is easy and the good looks of the betting site only make me want to spend more time on it.

It’s honestly hard to fault either site, making BetVictor a strong competitor to the likes of bet365.

Pros

  • Good continuity between mobile and web versions.

  • Great design

  • Excellent functionality

Cons

  • The website would look better without the ‘mini-games’ tab.

Deposits & Withdrawals – 4.5 stars

BetVictor offers a plethora of deposit and withdrawal methods to its users.

Deposits and withdrawals are also free to make.

Deposits

You can deposit money via literally any means that you could think of, including:

  • Debit Card

  • Credit Card

  • PayPal

  • Entropay

  • BACS

  • Skrill

  • Neteller

  • Maestro

Virtually all of these deposit methods are instant, meaning you can start betting right away.

Furthermore, the minimum deposit amount is very low at just £5.

Low minimum deposit amounts are an excellent way to bring flexibility to your betting budget and ensure that your account is always funded.

Finally, there are no associated deposit fees. This means that all the money that you put into the betting site will be yours to bet with.

Withdrawals

Withdrawals can be made to the same methods as above, and likewise have no associated fees.

You can make as many withdrawals as you like, provided you meet the minimum amount of £5.

The only downside to BetVictor’s withdrawal methods is that they can take up to three to five days to hit your account.

Pros

  • Plenty of deposit and withdrawal methods are available

  • Low minimum deposit and withdrawal amount

  • No fees

Cons

  • Withdrawals can take a while.

Markets – 5 stars

BetVictor has an incredible selection of sports to bet from and an even more impressive range of markets within each sport.

It’s difficult to find something that you can’t bet on through BetVictor.

Overview

Here’s a breakdown of the sports you can bet on through BetVictor:

As you can imagine, the range of sports available means that, for the majority of sports bettors, you will be able to find all of your favourite sports through BetVictor.

Football

Beach Soccer

Cycling

Formula One

Golf

Tennis

Snooker

Motorcycling

Ice Hockey

Hockey

Volleyball

Aussie Rules

Baseball

Darts

Boxing

Horse Racing

Greyhound Racing

Futsal

Politics

MMA

Speedway

American Football

Waterpolo

Badminton

Cricket

Rugby

Hurling

Handball

Gaelic Football

Basketball

Squash

Esports

What’s particularly appealing is the fact that more niche options like Esports and Hurling are offered, alongside the bigger markets such as boxing and football.

This makes the betting site a great choice for anyone, rather than just football fanatics and fight fans.

Sub-Markets

Arguably even more impressive than the range of sports offered by BetVictor is the number of sub-markets within each sport.

Because of this, you will be able to bet on mainstream leagues, as well as much more niche options.

Football alone, for instance, has over a dozen markets for you to bet on, including popular options like the Premier League and less mainstream ones like League 2.

It’s a similar story for boxing, where you can bet on virtually any semi-popular upcoming fight.

Pros

  • Extensive selection of sports available

  • Great range of sub-markets

Cons

  • None

Pre-Match Betting – 5 stars

BetVictor has a near-flawless pre-match betting system.

The odds are fantastic, making a bet is incredibly easy and innovative features like the Bet Builder make the user experience even better.

Bets

You can make virtually any bet you could think of in the lead-up to a match.

For example, before a football game, you can bet on the number of goals, yellow cards, corners and score before halftime.

With such a range of options available, BetVictor will likely be able to accommodate, no matter how abstract your bets may be.

You can also make extremely speculative, long-term bets surrounding the outcome of a season or event in the future.

In the context of boxing, for instance, you can place a bet on whether or not a certain fight will happen in the next 12 months.

This is a great way to spice up your bets and maximise your earning potential over a longer time frame.

The bet over rounds are almost always below the gold standard of 110%, meaning that you can rest assured any bets you make will have some of, if not, the best odds on the market.

Bet Builder

If you want to up the stakes when betting, BetVictor has a feature called the Bet Builder.

This allows you to make a series of cumulative bets which all have to be correct for you to win a payout.

This greater risk, of course, comes with much better reward potential.

It’s also worth noting that BetVictor offers a Cash Out feature alongside the Bet Builder.

This allows you to settle a bet before the event has ended and is a good way of maximising your winnings on the fly.

Pros

  • Excellent pre-match betting options

  • Bet Builder is awesome

  • Competitive odds

Cons

  • None

In-Play Betting – 4 stars

BetVictor’s range of in-play betting options is excellent.

You can also live stream horse racing through the betting site when betting just £1.

However, the live stream service is limited to horse racing only, meaning that you won’t be able to watch most of your favourite sports through the betting site.

Live Markets

BetVictor’s selection of live markets is excellent, and just as extensive as the pre-match markets.

Whether you’re watching football, tennis or rugby, you’ll be able to make a variety of different bets surrounding everything from the final score to the number of cards as the match plays out.

The odds are also competitive with the market, and you can rest assured that BetVictor will only display odds that are as good, if not better, than competing sites such as Betfred.

If you’re betting on horse/greyhound racing, you will be covered by BetVictor’s ‘Best Odds Guaranteed’ policy.

Essentially, this means that, if you make a bet on a race on the same day of the race, and better odds are released after you make the bet, you will automatically receive the reward for the better odds.

Streaming and Live Play

BetVictor does offer a streaming service. This is, however, limited exclusively to horse racing.

To access it, you simply need to bet a minimum of £1. This live-streaming service is easy to use and makes tracking your bets even easier.

However, beyond horse racing, you won’t be able to watch any sport live through BetVictor.

This isn’t uncommon for UK betting sites though, as often it’s difficult to obtain the right permissions/licences. However, compared to a site like bet365, the lack of live streaming is noticeable.

To make up for this, BetVictor does offer a free Live-Updates service, which allows you to follow a match through real-time graphics updates.

This is a pretty creative solution, and the graphics update regularly to give you a good idea of what is happening in real-time.

However, nothing can beat watching the real thing live, and BetVictor’s lacklustre live streaming service is hard to ignore.

Pros

  • Extensive selection of in-play bets

  • Live Streaming for horse racing

  • Great graphics for other events

Cons

  • No live streaming beyond horse racing

Welcome Incentive – 5 stars

BetVictor has a very attractive welcome incentive to attract new customers to the betting site.

It’s probably the best offer in the UK right now and is alone a great reason to give the betting site a try.

Offer

Currently, new UK users who sign up to BetVictor and deposit £10 will receive £40 in free bets.

This is essentially a free way to earn money, so long as you place winning bets. However, it’s important to note that the £40 hits your account as a token, meaning you can’t just deposit £10 and then withdraw all £50 the next moment.

Nevertheless, it’s hard to fault this offer, especially when comparing it to other betting sites such as bet365, which are currently offering users £30 in free bets.

How to Redeem

To redeem BetVictor’s welcome incentive, follow these steps:

  • Head to the BetVictor website.

  • Open a new account.

  • Deposit £10 and wager it at odds even/higher.

  • You will receive four £10 bet credits.

Comparison

BetVictor’s offer is matched by a few other UK betting sites, such as Betfred and BetMGM.

However, no other major site is currently offering anything better.

This shows just how good the site’s offer is, and is a major point in BetVictor’s favour.

Pros

  • One of the best offers in the UK

  • Easy to redeem

Cons

  • None

Customer Service – 5 stars

BetVictor’s customer support is flawless.

The company offers no less than seven different ways to get in touch, and from our experience, the team is quick to respond and very knowledgeable.

Contact Methods

BetVictor offers seven different ways for users to get in touch.

These include:

  • Live Chat- a 24/7 service that allows you to talk to a human agent about any problem you may have.

  • Email- An email ticketing service that aims to reply to your email with an original response and links to useful items.

  • Call- Book a time slot to call a member of the BetVictor team, to personally talk to a customer support team member.

  • Text- Reach out via a text message.

  • Facebook- Reach out via a Facebook DM and receive a reply directly from the app.

  • X- Reach out via X (formally known as Twitter).

User Experience

Our experience with BetVictor’s customer support team was nothing but positive. We personally tried the live chat, email and call methods, and was pleasantly surprised with all three.

When testing out the live chat, we connected to an agent in just a few minutes, and from here, it only took a couple of messages to sort out our issue. From testing, the advertised 24/7 support is also genuine.

The email support was also incredibly fast, and we got a personalised and highly informative email back within just a few hours of sending it.

Finally, we found the phone support system extremely user-friendly. Instead of having to sit on hold for half an hour, you just get to go about your day and have a team member call your number. This made the whole experience much simpler.

Overall, we couldn’t fault BetVictor’s customer service.

Pros

  • Seven ways to get in touch

  • Response times are quick

  • Team is knowledgeable

Cons

  • None

Final Thoughts

Ultimately, BetVictor isn’t just a good UK betting site. It’s a great one.

As a betting site, it’s near flawless. The range of markets is extensive. The in-play betting is great, and the customer support team is amazing.

It’s hard to pick out any severe faults that would cause you to steer clear of the betting site.

So, if you’re looking for an easy-to-use and inclusive betting site to cover all your sports betting wants and needs, we cannot recommend BetVictor enough.
