BetVictor is among the safest betting sites in the UK.

Licences

BetVictor holds a license from the UK Gambling Commission meaning it must adhere to strict rules with regards to fairness, financial stability and player safety.

It also possesses a licence from the Government of Gibraltar, where the company is headquartered, providing yet another layer of oversight.

These licenses mean BetVictor is well-regulated and must prove it can meet obligations like paying out winning bets and preventing money laundering.

Mobile Betting App – 5 stars

Five Stars BetVictor delivers a near-flawless mobile app.

A strong design, coupled with ease of use and stability, gives a great overall mobile experience.

Look and Feel

The layout is modern, clean, and intuitive.

The home page immediately shows some prominent features of the site.

A top menu allows you to switch between sports, casino and more.

Just under the promos, there is a list of sports titles that are notable.

Below this is the full list of sports titles customers can place bets on, with a search bar at the bottom.

The dark-on-light colour scheme improves readability and lends a sleek, modern feel.

User Experience

The app is easy to use right out of the gate.

After a quick look around, we were able to locate any feature in a matter of seconds.

The in-play betting experience was fluid, and the number of markets meant that we were never left short.

One of the features that stands out is the betting calculator, which demonstrates potential winnings based on your selections.

It’s a handy tool, especially if you fancy placing the more complex bets.

The app also offers a blog section filled with useful tips and insights – a nice touch for less experienced bettors.

Check out our roundup, too, where we placed BetVictor among the best betting apps in the UK.

Pros

  • Great design

  • Easy to make a bet

  • The app is technically solid

Cons

  • None

Website – 5 stars

Overall, BetVictor’s website is just as good as its mobile app, with a clean interface and user-friendly design.

However, one or two minor tweaks would make this already good site even better.

Look and Feel

The website looks pretty much the same as the mobile version, only on a bigger screen.

The continuity between the mobile app and website makes it easy to switch between betting sites, depending on where you are.

BetVictor homepage

Most people will probably slightly prefer the web version over the mobile app.

However, this is purely because the website offers a larger screen for you to view your bets.

On the other hand, if you’re on the go, or even live betting at the event itself, the mobile app is the more practical choice.

The one thing that we didn’t like about the website’s design was the ‘Roulette Mini Games’ tab on the right-hand side.

We found that these look like a Google Ad, taking away from the otherwise clean design.

Furthermore, the main sports tab is smaller as a result of this sidebar, which can become annoying when you want to view a wide range of betting options on a bigger screen.

User Experience

Just like the mobile counterpart, BetVictor’s website is seriously good to use in an everyday setting.

Aside from the annoying sidebar, everything is where it should be, navigation is easy, and the good looks of the betting site only make me want to spend more time on it.

It’s honestly hard to fault either site, making BetVictor a strong competitor to the likes of bet365.

Pros

  • Good continuity between mobile and web versions.

  • Great design

  • Excellent functionality

Cons

  • The website would look better without the ‘mini-games’ tab.

Deposits & Withdrawals – 4.5 stars

BetVictor offers a plethora of deposit and withdrawal methods to its users.

Deposits and withdrawals are also free to make.

Markets – 5 stars

BetVictor has an incredible selection of sports to bet on and an even more impressive range of markets within each sport.

It’s difficult to find something that you can’t bet on through BetVictor.

Sports on BetVictor

Overview

Here’s a breakdown of the sports you can bet on through BetVictor:

As you can imagine, the range of sports available means that, for the majority of sports bettors, you will be able to find all of your favourite sports through BetVictor.

Football

Beach Soccer

Cycling

Formula One

Golf

Tennis

Snooker

Motorcycling

Ice Hockey

Hockey

Volleyball

Aussie Rules

Baseball

Darts

Boxing

Horse Racing

Greyhound Racing

Futsal

Politics

MMA

Speedway

American Football

Waterpolo

Badminton

Cricket

Rugby

Hurling

Handball

Gaelic Football

Basketball

Squash

Esports

What’s particularly appealing is the fact that more niche options like Esports and Hurling are offered, alongside the bigger markets such as boxing and football.

This makes the betting site a great choice for anyone, rather than just football fanatics and fight fans.

Sub-Markets

Arguably, even more impressive than the range of sports offered by BetVictor is the number of sub-markets within each sport.

Because of this, you will be able to bet on mainstream leagues, as well as much more niche options.

Football alone, for instance, has over a dozen markets for you to bet on, including popular options like the Premier League and less mainstream ones like League 2.

It’s a similar story for boxing, where you can bet on virtually any semi-popular upcoming fight.

Pros

  • Extensive selection of sports available

  • Great range of sub-markets

Cons

  • None

Pre-Match Betting – 5 stars

BetVictor has one of the best pre-match betting offers on the market.

Competitive odds, simple betting, and features like the Bet Builder.

BetVictor pre-match betting

Bets

You can place a selection of pre-match bets across most sports.

In football, for example, you can bet on goals, corners, yellow cards and half-time scores.

You’ll also find long-term markets, like outright winners and speculative season outcomes.

Even smaller gambling options with niche bets – like if a specific boxing match will go ahead in the next year – are also available.

It adds variety and the opportunity to be creative with wagers.

Most markets hover around that 110% overround mark or lower, meaning you’re getting some of the most competitive odds around.

Bet Builder

The BetVictor Bet Builder allows punters to combine selections from the same match into one bet, creating higher returns for a greater risk.

It's a good tool for seasoned bettors who want to control the structure of their bets.

The service includes a Cash Out feature as well, allowing you to settle bets before the conclusion of an event; this is an increasingly popular option among punters to help secure early profits or minimise losses.

Pros

  • Excellent pre-match betting options

  • Bet Builder is awesome

  • Competitive odds

Cons

  • None

In-Play Betting – 4 stars

BetVictor’s range of in-play betting options is excellent.

You can also live stream horse racing through the betting site when betting just £1.

However, the live stream service is limited to horse racing only, meaning that you won’t be able to watch most of your favourite sports through the betting site.

Live Markets

Live betting provides numerous options, including football, tennis, rugby, and more.

Bets were placed, for instance, on outcomes of goals, cards and set results during the match.

Odds are consistently strong, and as often as not beat those of rivals such as Betfred.

Horse and greyhound racing markets also qualify for BetVictor’s Best Odds Guaranteed policy.

If the odds on your chosen selection, on the same day, improve after you’ve placed a bet, you’ll be paid the better price automatically.

Streaming and Live Play

BetVictor’s streaming falls short in today’s market, offering coverage of only horse racing.

For a race stream to become available, you need to make a £1 minimum stake.

The streaming service works well for what it offers, but currently, no additional sports are offered.

This isn’t uncommon for UK betting sites though, as often it’s difficult to obtain the right permissions/licences.

To make up for this, BetVictor offers Live Updates – an animated, real-time tracker of events on the pitch or court.

It’s a smart addition, but it doesn’t necessarily make up for the full live streaming that competitors like bet365 do better.

Pros

  • Extensive selection of in-play bets

  • Live Streaming for horse racing

  • Great graphics for other events

Cons

  • No live streaming beyond horse racing

Welcome Incentive – 5 stars

BetVictor’s welcome bonus is one of the most generous currently available in the UK.

Welcome offer on BetVictor

Offer

New customers deposit and bet £10 on odds of 1/1 or greater and receive £40 in free bets.

The money is given in tokens and cannot be withdrawn directly, but the returns are yours to keep if you win.

Compared to most rivals, this offer is excellent value and ideal for getting started with little risk.

How to Redeem

To redeem BetVictor’s welcome incentive, follow these steps:

  • Head to the BetVictor website.

  • Open a new account.

  • Deposit £10 and wager it at odds of even/higher.

  • You will receive four £10 bet credits.

Comparison

That offer is good for other strong competitors like Betfred and BetMGM.

There are no major UK bookmakers currently offering more, giving you a great reason to try BetVictor.

Pros

  • One of the best offers in the UK

  • Easy to redeem

Cons

  • None

Customer Service – 5 stars

BetVictor’s customer service is first-class.

Getting in touch with support is easy with seven contact options and responsive agents on all channels.

The live chat connected us with an agent within a few minutes and our issue was sorted out within a few messages.

True to its word, this 24/7 support is responsive and helpful.

Email support was similarly efficient, with a helpful, polite, and well-written reply arriving within just a few hours of our message.

Phone support was the star here.

All in all, BetVictor’s support is one of the best we’ve used.
